OWL’s Kitchen – a food pantry

Welcome to OWL's Kitchen. Our goal is to provide nutritious, healthy food in a friendly environment. Owl's Kitchen has been serving quality food to those in need for 20 years.

A wholly volunteer organization based in Lakeville CT, the food pantry serves individuals and families in the tri-state region. OWL’s Kitchen provides approximately 700 people with food each month.

Since its inception 22 years ago, OWL's Kitchen has operated from the first floor of a house owned and graciously donated to us by St. Mary's Church.  In recent years we have contributed $200 per month to help defray the cost of utilities and have made minor repairs to keep access to the kitchen safe for our clients and volunteers. For example, we recently improved the exterior lighting and replaced steps and handrails. 

Our clients and volunteers park in the lot across the street from OWL's Kitchen and carry groceries from the kitchen to the parking lot. Many of our clients are elderly and not steady on their feet. Because safety is one of our priorities, we are partnering with St. Mary's to repave the deteriorating driveway that leads from  the kitchen to the parking lot.
